I am currently teaching a reception class at Gresham's Pre-prep School. I have a degree in psychology which I studied for at De Montfort University, and a PGCE which I completed at Leicester University. I have been teaching for four years.

I first started using the PWC approach when I started teaching at Tuckswood School, and have used it weekly with children throughout the First School age range within the classroom and as an after school club. I have attended levels 1, 2 and 3 SAPERE training.

I have found that philosophy has a great effect on children's questioning and reasoning which can be applied across the curriculum, and have used this as a basis for a research project linked with imagination and emotional literacy.
